cyber prayers
a personal prayer book...
that reflects my eclectic practice and needs. modular, editable, digital (nothing is set in stone)—gentle, accessible (usable in times of low spoons)—chosen not for tradition, but for reason, purpose, and praxis—having abandoned my inherited traditions, i go forth and make my own—this is just a collection of texts. what i and you do with them, how sacred or profane they become, is up to us.

Blessed are You, EXISTENCE,
our God, Life of endless worlds,
Who made us holy with Voix commandments and commanded us
about washing hands.
May you be blessed to be whole
with where you are,
with who you are,
with what you are.
May you be blessed with a healing that allows you to be present with the realities of your life.
May you be whole with the experience of the hard day and rejoice in the experience of the good days
May you be available to receive beauty, wonder and awe with contentment and ease.
Pagpalain kayong maging buo
kung saan man kayo
kung sino man kayo
kung ano man kayo.

Al Yisrael, v’al rabbanan, v’al talmideihon…
For our community, for our teachers and students:
those who receive and learn and hand down the teachings
of all who have gone before us;
For those who explain, those who discern,
those who make connections,
those who draw out the truths
patiently waiting to be revealed;
For those who challenge words that cause harm,
those who reinterpret, reframe and redeem meanings
that might otherwise lead us astray.
For those who learn through study and those who learn from experience,
those who learn from all peoples, cultures and traditions,
those who live out the wisdom they have gained,
who know that every conversation, every move, every breath
is a precious opportunity to learn Torah anew.
May the source of all wisdom grant us abundant peace, loyalty
love and compassion,
and let us say,
Amen.
Para sa ating pamayanan, para sa ating mga guro at mga mag-aaral:
silang natanggap at natututo at ipinapasa ang mga aral
ng lahat ng nanguna sa atin
Para sa mga nagpapaliwanag, nag-aaninawin,

May it be your will ה׳,
my אֱלֹהַ
, אֱלֹהַ of my ancestors,
my ancestors who emigrated here whose journey I barely know,
my ancestors before them whose names I do not know,
that my intentions be revealed and known before me as clearly as they are before you,
that in the depths of my being,
thick and dark with the interconnected roots
seemingly impossible to disentangle
without doing violence
to the organic growth of my living being,
my eye remains open,
my ear remains listening,
my nose and palate sense while breathing deeply an awareness of the life that transcends my life to touch all of life,
through my thoughts to my actions,
and through my actions to my thoughts,
regardless of my transgressions,
regardless of my holy beautiful unifications,
and through this awareness bring unity to the Imagination that is Manifest
and to the Manifestation of your Name that I imagine, in peace and in lovingkindness,
in the name of all יִשְׂרָאֵל,
and in the name of all your creation,
its diverse multiplicity interconnected with desire
through the unique needs of every creature
so as to express a Oneness parallel to a Oneness.
May my thoughts seek truth and integrity,
the humility that is commensurate with my ignorance,
the compassion that arises from the depths of awareness,
as depths speak to depths,
through that desperation
that embraces even Chaos
but which is supported by patience
for the time permitting the resolution of Chaos
from Understanding to Insight.
